Let us not forgot that it is not only we who are seeking, but all those others out there who are on their own "free and responsible search for truth and meaning," who are seeking the values and community we have to offer. We must build not only for ourselves, but for those who have not yet found us. And lest we rest on our laurels too easily, we must remember not only to build, but to spread our good word. Let us not be afraid to use the word evangelize, which has quite a different meaning than the word prosyletize, and let us not forsake the word evangelize to the religious conservatives.
